THE DIVISION: Reporting through the Office of Government's Chief Information Officer, the Enterprise Services Division (ES) enables government to deliver services to citizens by providing cost-effective management and supply of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) services such as data and voice networks, workstations and mobile devices, messaging and collaboration services, information security, data centre and application hosting, and enterprise architecture.
THE BRANCH: The Information Management Branch (IMB) is a diverse team of digital professionals with a passion for teamwork, learning, and iterative improvement. We're at the forefront of modernizing how to build and support digital products within the Ministry of Citizens' Services, empowering our partners and enabling for the future.
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Services Team Lead, the Service Transformation Specialist provides expertise and leadership on the portfolio of work that resides under this Workstream. This position also leads the service transformation portfolio and provides expert advice to senior staff and leads multiple project teams.
Job Requirements: - Degree in computer science, computer engineering, business administration or a discipline related to the management of IT professionals and/or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience leading service transformation initiatives in an IM and IT setting.
- Experience leading and supervising a team.
- Experience with change management processes and project management methodologies.
- Experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems and network components.
Preference:
- Experience with IM/IT Agile Product Teams
