The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible to plan, organize and manage projects related to the implementation of new hardware, network and operating systems and supporting software infrastructures and services. Project deliverables will support the business applications and data resources of the ministry and share common technology components in a secure environment.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field OR;
- An equivalentcombination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience conducting technical feasibility studies and developing technology plans and strategies.
- Experience in analysis, data modelling, design, and implementation of complex applications.
- Experience with researching and evaluating all facets of technology architecture, new technologies, product effectiveness, potential obsolescence, and pilots new architectures.
- Experience providing technical expertise on cross-platform architectural design issues and/or new technology solutions.

- Experience in the Natural Resource Sector.
- Recent experience with architecting and delivering cloud services using API integration techniques and modern container orchestration platforms.
