Job Summary Support the transformation of government services in this dynamic teamThe Digital Strategies and Services Branch (DSSB) provides leadership and support for the re-engineering, improvement and protection of the ministry's information technology (IT) assets, data and workplace technologies. Our goal is to establish effective relationships with clients and partners, to offer technology enablers and support for the ministry's priorities and programs.
To lead and coordinate application development teams in the application development lifecycle and in planning, designing, developing, testing, enhancing and maintaining mission critical applications of significant complexity (multiple platforms, environments and technologies requiring integration of new and legacy systems), and cost.
Job Requirements: - Degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- 2 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics development (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, PowerApps).
- 2 years experience working with Cloud technologies such as MS Azure.
- Experience leading and participating in project teams including application developers, business area users and technical resources.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience with structured and object orientated programming in a complex rules based environment.
- Experience with Data Modelling.
- Experience with version control technologies such as subversion or Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

About this Position: Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved Telework Agreement. The position headquarters will be Victoria or Vancouver.
