Service Management (SM) is a horizonal ITIL based function that provides central processes and procedures for planning, development, and delivery of services across Enterprise Services Division. Service Management has several distinct units: Client Services; IT Order, Incident, Change, Problem and Data/Configuration Management; Service Desk, My SC Application Management; and organizational Business Continuity. The branch is also centric to assisting the division in evolving and preparing to move to cloud-based services.

This position provides business analysis/consulting services for the corporate Service Management Transformation Program (SMTP). As a member of the Application Management team you will provide technologyplanning, business analysis, systems design and client support services for ongoing business and technology needs across Enterprise Services and cross-ministries groups. Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Two years experience providing business analysis for integrated custom applications and/or key front-line systems with complex interactive business processes.
  • Experience leading significant components of a large IM/IT focused project.

Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the following:
  • Experience with Service Now.
  • Experience with Tier 2 system and software troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience providing business analysis on high-risk projects, including management of financial and human resources.
  • Experience with application design and development life cycle; and all aspects of Information Technology security.
