The Order Management team, an established group of 7 professionals, manages IT service recoveries using CAS Data Warehouse, iStore, and My Service Centre. They work closely with other Service Delivery Units, ministry contacts, and public sector clients to ensure accurate and timely IT service management.Our team is known for its positive attitude and openness to change, always striving to improve and streamline processes. The Role
In this role as a Business Analyst, Order Management, you'll be responsible for updating critical IT systems, supporting government reorganizations, and analyzing custom applications. Your work will directly impact Ministry clients and the broader public sector by ensuring they receive the correct IT services. Join us to be at the forefront of the Province's transition to the cloud-based ServiceNow platform. This position offers a chance to work with leading technologies and be a key player in driving digital innovation and change.

About this Position:
There are currently two (2) permanent positions available.
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved Telework Agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field and 2 years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in a computer science related field and 3 years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in a computer science related field and 4 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience includes the following:
- Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes, quality assurance, end user technical support, and change management activities for a software product.
- Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support desk service including queue management.
- Experience with managing and completing updates to complex data in a mission critical IT system environment.
Preference may be given to applicants who have the following related experience:
- Experience with the Province's current Order Management processes and tools (e.g. iStore, CAS Data Warehouse, My Service Center (Service Now)).
- Experience with the Province's current financial systems; processing and posting transactions within government accounting systems, accounts receivable and billing, fiscal year end processes.
- Experience supervising a team including assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave.
