Position Highlights There is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Developer as part of the Portal and User Experience department in the Customer Channel Solutions team. You will be supporting MS SharePoint 2013 / 2016 solutions for ICBC's portals. The technology includes both client-side and server-side SharePoint development. This is a temporary role for 6 months.

The following experience is required in order to be considered for this opportunity:

• Proven experience with investigation and resolution of production problems (3+ years) • Proven experience with the analysis, design and development of SharePoint 2013 and 2016 solutions (3+ years working with SharePoint) • Proven experience with both Iterative and Waterfall methodologies • Proven ability to managing multiple concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities and requirements • Proven ability to oversee the continual enhancements of portal / web solutions through a release management methodology • Proven ability to provide guidance to junior resources as part of sustainment or projects.

Position Requirements Key to your success in this role, you will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Advanced skills in both back-end and front-end web development • Advanced knowledge of application debugging techniques and tools • Advanced knowledge of quality assurance practices relating to software development, including unit and integration testing • Providing estimates for business cases, impact assessments, projects, and action requests in response to requests from business systems analysts or IT project leads • Experience and demonstrated ability with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, including jQuery • Experience and demonstrated ability in developing, and integrating with, web services • Experience and demonstrated ability with Microsoft .Net platform and C# • Experience with code management or version control tools, particularly SVN.
