Position Highlights The ICBC IS User Experience team has an exciting full-time opportunity to join a department devoted to product research and design. The successful candidate will: provide senior level expertise in the analysis and development of applications and other products, deliver prototypes or recommendations for their design with an emphasis on interface and interactions.

The successful candidate will work with business analysts, technical resources and end users to identify personas, create documentation and produce prototypes for a more usable and acceptable end product for the user. This will involve coordination of work between different business areas, an ability to work directly with both technical and non-technical personnel, an ability to conduct user interviews, focus groups and surveys, perform usability testing, and prepare reports outlining recommendations. Strong analysis skills are required in order to review and analyze the results of usability testing and surveys, and apply the learned knowledge to improve the user interfaces with a focus on User Centric Design practices adhering to corporate brand requirements.

Position Requirements This position requires: • Knowledge of the fundamentals of information architecture, information design, and the application of user centred design principles • Understanding of development methodologies and how they integrate into user centric design best practices • Ability to translate business, user and design requirements into functional requirements that balance user, business and technical needs • Ability to communicate design, interaction and user requirements to both business customers and technical resources • Ability to write and develop written reports and to present recommendations, both orally and in writing • Ability to build wireframes (paper-based, Visio-based or Balsamiq) • Ability to build interactive and functional prototypes (Axure, etc) • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Ability to design for mobile, web, informational systems and business applications for an enterprise audience • Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and jQuery • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of user-centred design and usability testing • Experience designing, developing and conducting usability tests (i.e. to test internal and external products for relevance, effectiveness and usability) • Experience in the analysis of usability testing results and the preparation of reports to outline recommendations • Experience with SharePoint 2013 & 2016 would be an asset • Experience with OutSystems Low Code platform would be an asset • Experience with the following tools would be an asset: Bootstrap, SASS, Foundation, AngularJS and LESS • HTML5/CSS3 Animation would be an asset
