Responsibilities include:
• Tuning camera image quality on various CMOS sensors and ISP platforms • Developing and carrying out image quality evaluation methods, from setting up lab measurements all the way to field testing • Developing applications and/or scripts to assist in quantitative evaluation and tuning • Applying problem solving skills and experience to identify issues and improving image quality • Applying engineering principles to design and implement algorithms for controlling image acquisition & tuning parameters • Measuring & validating critical imaging parameters • Reviewing Marketing and Product Requirements Document during feasibility and development • Providing mentorship and image quality training to the team Qualifications:
• 3+ years of digital imaging, color science, video coding and photography experience • Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and enjoy photography • Experience with ISP algorithms and designs, AWB, AE, AF and HDR/WDR algorithms • Experience with image quality evaluation tools (e.g. Imatest) & tuning equipment • Strong design and programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Matlab, etc. • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline Perks and Benefits:
