We are currently looking for High Profile Security Guards to join our team for a shopping centre site in Downtown Vancouver . This is an on-call position with full-time hours provided and room for growth. You will be responsible for covering various shifts throughout the week.

Shift Availability: Must be open to work any 5-days of the week (Sun-Sat), either Graveyards (0000-0800hrs), OR Mornings & Afternoons.

You are a good fit if you have:
• A valid BC Security Worker License
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in security or customer service
• Customer service experience in Downtown Vancouver is an asset
• Experience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong comprehension and report writing ability
• Good work ethic and professional deportment
• Cheerful and helpful customer service approach
• Physically fit - walking 20k-30k steps per shift is expected
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• AST certification is an asset

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Conducting regular foot patrols throughout the site
• Handling evictions and interacting with individuals under the influence
• Daily interaction with police, public, clients, and tenants
• Managing situations involving narcotics and aggressive behavior
• Writing detailed incident reports
• Monitoring CCTV and communicating via radio
• Enforcing property rules and bylaws
• Supporting emergency responders as needed
