Helpdesk Support

Location: Richmond

Rate:  $18-$20 per hour

Duration: 6 months rolling contract

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the worlds largest commercial company specialising in design and production of high tech cameras as a Helpdesk Support Specialist.  The role will encompass a variety of tasks which will allow the successful applicant to learn new skills and utilise their existing skillset.  

This is a 6-month contract - 24 hours per week – Flexible schedule

Job Description:

The Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering high quality, cost effective solutions to all levels of users remotely, desk-side and on-site, but not limited to: 

  • Providing excellent and courteous support to end users.
  • Monitoring infrastructure, identifying issues and taking preventative action to ensure business continuity. 
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems including computers, laptops, printers, phones, monitors and audio-visual equipment.
  • Assist Network Administrator with maintenance of core systems.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent work experience and/or certificates.
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in a Help Desk support position or a similar or relatable role.
  • Experience working with Active directory, Exchange, TCP/IP networking protocol
  • Microsoft certifications and/or Cisco certifications
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Rate:  $18-$20 per hour
