Position Overview:Reporting to the Global Head Supply Chain Transformation, the Global COE Director, Sales and Operation Planning owns and manages the Global Sales and Operation process, which governs the S&OP, demand, supply and inventory planning and decision making across the business.

This position leads a team of technical and functional experts who deploys industry best practices globally, which including building regional capability and deploy policies, processes and systems that required to meet Finning strategy, superior customer experience, and financial business results.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
  • Govern existing Sales & Operation Planning process, practices and tools supporting seamless execution of the business strategy and delivery of results in line with targets. To ensure that management of business is carried out in accordance with agreed process, rules, principles and values.
  • To engage and constructively challenges to continuously improve sales and operation planning and continuously speed the business' ability to identify and react to changes in planned performance and the competitive environment.
  • Ensure appropriate planning control and management of the business through S&OP process, this includes a robust demand and supply planning process that covers short term, and long term horizon, the process that reconcile gaps and make trade off decisions
  • Develop S&OP team's capability across all the regions, build and lead a matrix team of leader in regions that facilitate and drives the running and development of S&OP to next level
  • Build business capabilities to increasingly manage through system and process. this includes responsibility to develop, introduce and cultivate a culture of business discipline in managing through business process and systems. This including partner with Digital & IT functions to identify and implement systems according to future vision and roadmap required in the S&OP area to maximize business result with high efficiency.

  • Develops and drives the identification, design, governance and analysis of global planning policies, processes, standards, methods, systems, controls, and best practices
  • Monitors results against benchmarks and other performance targets
  • Manage global S&OP process and facilitate the Executive Sign Off of global S&OP output with CEO, CFO and Executive VP, global supply chain


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is a must, a Masters degree in these disciplines would be considered an asset
  • 10+ years of S&OP planning / Supply Chain Planning/ Or Supply Chain Management Experience with demonstrated success leading initiatives and managing teams
  • Prior industry knowledge or working experience from consumer product sector, automotive sector, or others that experienced with high SKU complexity, high seasonality, in supply chain planning or related functional roles.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading direct and cross functional teams
  • Experience leading large scale cross-functional initiatives within larger organizations with a proven track record of influencing authority at all levels
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish would be considered an asset
