What will your typical day look like?

As a Microsoft 365 Functional Analyst in our Content Services practice, you will help our clients solve some of their most difficult business challenges and enable their digital transformation agenda by specializing in the analysis, design, and configuration of Microsoft 365-based business solutions, leading workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to understand current state pain points and target state opportunities, and developing strategies, roadmaps, plans and budgets for implementation of Microsoft 365-based solutions, and adoption of Microsoft 365-based Modern Workplace services. You will work with business stakeholders to explore and define solution needs in response to business challenges and capture user stories / business requirements outlining business solution needs and functionality.

This role will require you to define and document functional designs for Microsoft 365-based solutions; capture designs in functional specifications or similar deliverables; configure Microsoft 365 functionality (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Power Platform) to meet business needs; facilitate, develop and execute functional test cases and test scripts; perform functional testing of defined solutions to validate that configured functionality aligns with business requirements; plan and facilitate acceptance testing by business stakeholders; and address stakeholder questions and concerns to support prioritization of enhancements and defects for resolution.

Content Services is a Deloitte sub-offering focused on providing organizations with a front- and back-office transformation of their information management operations, processes, and technology. Our team focuses on capabilities that include document and records management, information architecture, content migration, digitization, and integrations with a broader information ecosystem, helping our clients make the most effective use of their information: creating value, avoiding costs, and reducing risks.

As a Functional Analyst, you are someone with:

• Solid core consulting skills including:
  • Strategy, roadmap and delivery planning
  • Deliverable development using standard MS Office tools
  • Data analysis
  • Business analysis including current- and future-state process design, and business requirements definition and capture
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with client business stakeholders and leaders
• Industry and solution knowledge
  • Understanding of the business context of systems implementation (industry / client environment, business case for building SharePoint / Teams / OneDrive solutions, etc.)
  • Industry experience delivering information management solutions and transformations in one or more of the following:energy, resources & industrials; financial services; public sector
