Full-time Daytime Cashier / Line Cook
Location: McDonald's Saanich (3465 Saanich Rd, Victoria, BC V8X 1W8)
Available to Work: 7:00AM - 7:00 PM (7-8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Starting Wage: $18.25 per hour
Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc is an independently owned and operated franchise of McDonald's located in British Columbia. We are currently seeking reliable Daytime Cashier / Line Cook Team Members to join our team.
This is a permanent daytime position responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during daytime hours.
Position Summary
The Daytime Cashier / Line Cook works in a fast-paced team environment to complete assigned tasks during scheduled 7-8 hour shifts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests, take orders, and process payments accurately
Prepare food and beverages to McDonald's standards
Assemble dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders
Follow structured procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and managers
Adhere to food safety standards, company policies, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements

Qualifications

Must be available to work 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 5 days per week
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
No prior experience required; experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an asset
Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Shifts of 7-8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Prolonged standing and walking
Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Exposure to kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
Fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Compensation & Workplace Commitment
