EasyMarkit is growing and we’re looking for creative Full Stack Developers to work on some exciting new projects with our Medtech software. This is an exciting, dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to create powerful web application components for our clients.

This is a full-time position in our Chinatown, Vancouver HQ, walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, and public transit. On-site bicycle parking and a one zone TransLink Compass pass are provided as an added benefit!

What You’ll Do

  • You will be collaboratively brainstorming and contributing to the improvement of our existing product and creation of new product modules
  • You will be working with a high performing team to develop and maintain our web-based application, as well as digging into machine learning and predictive models
  • You will be working in our Laravel codebases and communicating with your teammates to find efficient (and beautiful) solutions
  • You will assist in the development of projects such as Analytics Business Intelligence (BI) tools for our large clients, including Ivy League universities
  • You will work strategically to address and solve complex issues, with a focus on the user
  • You will have the opportunity to learn and acquire new skills, broaden your existing skills, and contribute to others through knowledge sharing

Who You Are

  • You are a strategic-minded developer with 2+ years of experience in full stack development
  • You have experience with PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • You have a passion for creating, designing, developing, and learning
  • You thrive in a team - communicating and collaborating are your major strengths
  • You love to try new things, whether that is using a new framework, creating an application in your spare time, or honing your foosball skills
  • You have a keen eye for detail, usability, and aesthetic

Bonus if

  • You have BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • You have worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • You have experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
  • You have experience with SQL
  • You have worked with a team using SCRUM methodology
  • You are a certified SCRUM Master
