Front End Engineer - AWS IoT Applications Team

As customers connect more and more devices to the cloud, they need easy to use and scalable solutions to onboard and manage their IoT(Internet of Things) devices. Our team provides AWS customers with an innovative user experience and management console. You will enable customers to interact digitally with the physical world!
While the office is located in Vancouver, working remotely is supported, and often times encouraged. Work hours are flexible and typically self-defined, with a core team hours of 10AM-4PM. We are builder-operators of our services at AWS and have a modest on-call rotation where you'll participate once every 2-3 months. We don't like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our are fault tolerant. When an issue happens, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don't get paged for the same issue twice.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years relevant work experience
• 2+ years of professional front-end development
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, , , and NodePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with recent front-end frameworks such as , Vue or Angular
• Experience building reusable components or libraries
• Experience building scalable, , front-end experiences
