This is a transformational opportunity to work on TELUS' Traffic Management team for British Columbia.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

You will work together with our build partner(s) and TELUS internal teams to maximize the build efficiency by creating Traffic Management Plans & Permits (TMPs) to support our teams working in the field. As well, support our current TELUS Traffic management prime in a variety of tasks related to our organization.

Here's how
    •You will create Traffic Management Plans and submit permits to the Ministry of Transportation & City Jurisdictions
    •Handling requests across various communities in British Columbia
    •Verifying all TMP's & permits are in accordance with Ministry of Transportation Traffic Management Manual, Work Safe regulations, and specific guidelines set forth by City jurisdictions

This role is 70% in field (on the ground in neighborhoods and communities assigned) and 30% mobile office based.

    •You have the aptitude to learn with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proficiency to prioritize in a dynamic environment
    •You have a related degree/diploma or equivalent related experience

    •Previous related management experience
    •2+ years traffic control knowledge
    •Invarion Rapid Plan experience

    •Knowledge/Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
    •Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
    •Attention to detail and problem solving
    •Strong written, verbal, and organization skills
    •Traffic Control Certification ticket (required for creating TMP's)
    •Knowledge and understanding of Ministry of Transportation Traffic Control Manual for Work on Roadways in BC
    •Ability work independently and in a team environment
    •Strong adaptability skills, we are an organizational team that is always evolving
    •Excellent telephone skills
    •Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints
    •Dispatch experience
