Electronic Assembler

Electronic Assembler:  Harvey 2549 

Job Description:

We are looking to hiring a Electronic Assembler for our electronic manufacturing facility located in the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities:

• Hand soldering of thru hole components
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and other related electronic assemblies
• Effectively follow assembly procedures for repair and refurbishment of tablets and other assemblies
• Follow moderately detailed assembly instructions to complete tasks
• Solder and assembly wire assemblies
• Use hand tools and power tools such as screw drivers, torque drivers, wire strippers and crimping tools
• Assist in material kitting and inventory as needed
• Labeling, cleaning and final packaging of products
• Perform various testing following test procedures
• Ensure product meets standards and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area 

Qualifications:

• Technical manufacturing background (Min 1 year)
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 would be considered a definite asset
• Knowledge of component identification
• Proficiency with soldering / de-soldering
• Knowledge of to use a computer
• Knowledge of component handling and ESD requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
• Willing to learn and identify new solutions.
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Able to sit most of the working day
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform consistently in a self directed manner
• Read, write and speak English
• Able to work with supervisor to meet deliveries and work in the most efficient manner

This is a fulltime position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30pm

Salary is open depending on current working experience

Benefits package after 3 months, with Extended Health Care

Overtime, Weekend availability as needed, with a flexible Schedule
