Electrical Project Manager / Estimator:  Harvey 2357

Currently, we are seeking an experienced, energetic and driven Project Manager/Estimator with good customer service skills to join our Service Team in Burnaby.

The Service Project Manager / Estimator will perform a wide range of duties including:

• Estimating smaller jobs and repairs

• Managing service work order and project process flow including scheduling, invoice closeout and customer satisfaction follow up.

• This position works closely with the Electrical Service Manager and in conjunction with the Regional Manager.

• Responsibilities/Duties:

• Identify potential business opportunities

• Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users

• Manage project financial performance

• Estimate project costs, and submit tenders

• Purchase materials and equipment

• Work with the Service Manager, Coordinators, and Service Electricians to develop service work and small project scheduling.

• Ensures the required paperwork is completed so the work order or project is billed out and our company is paid.

Experience and Requirements:                                                                                                  

• Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma / certificate

• 3 years' plus of experience in Electrical Project Management and / or Estimating

• Previous experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an asset

• Strong attention to detail

• Good organizational skills

• Good computer skills including MS Office

• FSR B / or A would be an asset.

This is a fulltime position

Salary for this position is open, depending on current experience
