The Role As the Director, Software Engineering for Advertising & Monetization Experiences, you will be responsible for engineering of all consumer facing experiences to discover, connect, and work with professionals like real estate agents, mortgage brokers, moving providers on the Relator.com site & mobile applications. You will also own all advertising on the site.

Own & operate our online services to the highest level of operational excellence meeting availability, reliability, performance, and scale in a cost-effective way.
Work with product & business counterparts to own & manage roadmap that delivers on short-term goals and sets the team for longer-term success. Manage stakeholder expectations.
Stay current with industry and technology trends, and calibrate roadmap accordingly.
Hire, coach and mentor team members, and regularly provide feedback.
Oversee architectural choices and ensure the team follows best practices for software development.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer focus.
Strengthen culture of sharing and collaboration within and across teams.
Experience in delivering secure, highly available (>99.9% availability) consumer facing online experience to millions of daily active users per day.
Experience in making applications secure enough to store sensitive PII data such as SSN and Credit Card Numbers.
Previous experience with major Ad Networks such as Google DFP to deliver programmatic and custom Advertisement Products.
Ability to drive projects that require alignment with multiple engineering teams in a matrix organization

Experience with 24x7 available consumer-facing online services serving millions of consumers on a daily basis
BSCS or higher. Higher professional degrees preferred.
