The Director, Community Services and Long-Term Care is a key leadership role in Prince George Health Services and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer NI. This position is responsible and accountable for leading specific and delegated responsibilities in planning, delivery and evaluation of programs and services with the goal of achieving Northern Health mission and vision, and the NH strategic plan.

These responsibilities include the integration and coordination of various resources, services and departments to carry out these activities. The Director, Community Services and Long Term Care develops and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders and leaders, both internally and externally, to provide strategic and operational leadership to all programs and services.

Starting salary will be approximately from $141,146 to $176,433 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Master's Degree in Health Services Administration or a relevant discipline;
• Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years experience in progressively senior health care management roles with responsibility for a significant number of staff and financial resources;
• Or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Practical experience in strategy, policy development, leadership and project and program management.
