As a Developer Analyst you will work within the research and development team to help troubleshoot and resolve production issues as well as build and ship new features for the MedAccess EMR product. Be a part of a team that enables healthcare professionals provide a better service and drive improvements to patient care for millions of Canadians.Here's how
•Analyze business requirements and help provide solution approaches and estimate work effort
•Work within a Scrum team to design, code, test, debug and document end-user enhancements
•Build applications through adherence to code quality standards and proper testing
•Investigate, triage and support defect resolution and operational issues
•Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance our software development processes
•Work within the full stack of technologies (UI, application tier, database) used by the product
•Liaise with internal team members, end users and/or other systems departments as needed Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Strong knowledge of Java and Java-based web applications
•Experience with relational databases (MySQL)
•Experience with an ORM framework (Hibernate)
•Knowledge/skills with other programming languages/technologies: Great-to-haves
•Web Services (SOAP, REST)
•University Degree or equivalent
•Clear written and verbal communication
•Ability to learn new technologies quickly
•Ability to be a goal-oriented self-starter and work independently
•Experience in Healthcare IT is a bonus
