Role Overview:

TELUS Client Experience (CE) Technology Enablement is seeking a Developer Analyst III to join a dynamic team supporting the platform within the TELUS Consumer organization.

The solution supports TELUS in providing best in class customer service to its clients.

This is a position with a software development team within the business organization.

CE Technology Enablement Spotlight:

The Client Experience Technology Enablement Team leads and supports numerous enterprise systems and tools used by our Client Experience, Business Customer Experience, Small Business Solutions and TELUS Quebec Contact Centers.

Working in close partnership with Project Management Office, Operations, Marketing and Business Transformation & Operations, our team leads short term delivery, while designing the long term roadmap and evolution of the systems used by our Contact Centers.

What YOU Will Do:
    •Configure, customize, and develop object oriented software for the Service Cloud platform •Work with other technical team members, Business Analysts, and leaders to implement new business capabilities, infrastructure and troubleshoot issues •Interpret system requirements, define technical tasks, and design and implement new system capabilities and solutions •Coordinate technical dependencies with other teams as well as participate and lead technical activities for complex projects in a cross functional environment •Make recommendations to improve product quality, reliability, performance, and scalability •Conduct periodic software continuous improvement cycles •Demonstrate a passion for designing and developing well architected, robust automated systems and frameworks ensuring high quality of code •Investigate and evaluate new technologies and supporting products •Ability to multitask, manage time, and ability to handle urgent interruptions with poise and professionalism


What YOU Bring:
    •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Strong knowledge of object oriented principles and APEX; familiarity with other object oriented languages (Java, PHP, ASP.NET, etc.) and design patterns is considered and asset •Experience implementing case and task management systems •Experience developing/designing automation, utilities, and helper frameworks •Experience developing web-service and working in a SaaS environment •Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, or XP methodologies; familiarity with Waterfall model also considered an asset •Experience developing, automating and web-services •Integration experience on using SOAP and REST API's •Experience in working with Apex Scheduling, Batch processes, Apex Class controllers and Triggers with Governor Limits •Ability to conceptualize and frame problems into solutions •Experience using Infomatica is considered an asset •Experience using versioning control/continuous integrations tools such as Jenkins, ANT, git, or subversion •Experience with authentication and authorization protocols, familiarity with LDAP and SSL •Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, MySQL, and other database products is an asset •Experience with Microsoft (MS) Exchange/SFDC integration is considered an asset

In Your Education Tool Kit:
    •Post-secondary studies in a technical field is considered an asset •Salesforce Certified App Builder Designation or equivalent
