As an employer, we provide comprehensive growth, learning and engagement opportunities to the 2,300 committed professionals across the district. The Data Installer installs, repairs, and tests data/voice/low voltage infrastructure throughout the district. This is a 6-month temporary position, with the possibility of extension.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-wiring, installation, labeling, and termination of caballing;
  • At times, may be required to climb onto poles, roofs, attics and basements;
  • May be required to work afternoons or weekends to complete projects during non-school hours.

 Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
  • AMP NetConnect ACT 1 certification is required.
  • Possess valid class 5 BC driver's license.
  • Demonstrated understanding of network cable installations.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
