Data Engineer located in our brand new hybrid head office in
Surrey, BC. As an early hire on a new team, your impact will be significant. You will collaborate with leaders across the organization to influence and execute on an ambitious analytics roadmap that extends across insurance operations, marketing, finance, and other departments.

As a
Data Engineer, you have the unique opportunity to lead an ambitious data analytics roadmap that will extend across operations, marketing, finance, human resources, and other departments.

Why we'll love You: • You're curious about the business and love learning about best practices and tools, identifying opportunities to implement improvements
• Expertise in building cloud-based data pipelines, ideally with Azure and/or Databricks
• Deep experience with SQL, Python/R, git, dbt, Spark/Databricks
• Minimum seven years' experience working with data lakes, marts, and/or warehouses
•
Bonus! Familiarity with Azure Synapse, experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, and experience in P&C insurance
