Job Description

6-month contract Data Analyst role at a global enterprise organization with hybrid work in Vancouver.

Hybrid work environment in Vancouver, 3 days a week in office.

What & Why:
As a result of investment our client is looking to add a contract data analyst to their team to support their call centre powered by Salesforce technology. This role focuses on supporting data-driven initiatives by documenting data flows and system designs in collaboration with engineers. The analyst is responsible for assessing the impact of data model changes, designing and transforming data models, and securing architectural approval for technical solutions. The position involves hands-on technical work, including operational DevOps tasks such as key rotation, addressing security vulnerabilities, and triaging production incidents. Strong skills in Snowflake, SQL, reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau, and conceptual data modeling are essential, along with the ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver, working in a hybrid model, 3 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years experience as a data analyst.
Proven experience working with Snowflake and writing complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong background in conceptual data modeling and designing scalable, maintainable data solutions.
Familiarity with DevOps practices including security vulnerability management, key rotation, and incident triage in production environments.

Compensation:
This role pays between $45-60 per hour.
