This opportunity is restricted to applicants in recognized co-op programs in the province of British Columbia, enrolled in post-secondary studies in computer science, or related disciplines.
There are two (2) temporary co-op positions available for September - December 2022.
An eligibility list may be established.

As an Application Developer Co-op, you will design, develop, test, enhance and maintain critical applications of significant complexity (multiple platforms, environments and technologies requiring integration of new and legacy systems) that will support the strategic direction of BC Registry Services and the needs of its clients.

Job Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Co-op Level 1 - registered in a recognized co-op program at the undergraduate level studying in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Experience in structured and object-oriented programming in a complex rules-based environment using a broad number of application development tools, including experience in frontend and backend development.
  • Experience using a variety of modern development languages and technologies.


Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Experience and/or knowledge with Python and/or Vue.js.
  • Experience with and knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes and test automation.
