Our collaborative team based selling environment gives you the opportunity to develop strategic business-to-business skills, tech SaaS sales experience and develop foundations for career progressions.
In this role you will be responsible for a territory that you will have to prospect into and generate new business. This position carries a quota, variable compensation on top of a base with an opportunity for overachievement of target that allows you to access an accelerator. Our commercial sales team is consistently successful, and plays a critical role in expanding on Hootsuite's 16+ millions users.
Desired skills & Experience:
1-3 years B2B sales experience OR 1+ years of lead generation / business development representative experience in software
1+ years of outbound prospecting experience
Ability to focus on client business value, return on investment, and customer solutions (not features-focussed selling)
Experience crafting sales strategies for your vertical/territory and building/executing on your account plans/territory plans
Excellent communication and presentation skills (phone, video, email)
Intrinsically motivated, results oriented, and driven to keep improving results
Coachable and open to learning, growth and development of yourself and others on your team
Has the ability to be adaptable and able to manage through a fast paced constantly changing environment and more importantly is able to help and supportive others be agile and manage through change
