About our Client

Our client is a renowned machinery manufacturer with locations all over the world. They lead their industry with innovation, quality and commitment to their clientele. They are looking for Process Development (CNC) Engineers to join their growing team. This position will be programming and developing the machines that cut, shape, and finish materials according to company specifications. The ideal candidate can code soft and firmware and has a passion for design and innovation - apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop equipment and machinery for the manufacturing process
  • Interpret mechanical drawings
  • Improve the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of machinery and plant processes
  • Participate in the full development of new machinery - from design to implementation and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and fault analysis
  • Providing input regarding design viability for manufacturing purposes
  • Operation of CNC equipment and training other individuals to use this equipment
  • Prepare documentation for CNC equipment

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in IT
  • Experience in transportation manufacturing industries (automotive, marine etc.) a strong asset
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Innovative and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
