Civil Land Development / Assistant Engineer: Harvey 2017
We are a well-known consulting firm with projects in the Lower Mainland, and our company’s office is located in Surrey, BC.
You will be joining an experienced team of engineers and technologists that have built a solid reputation across industry, in the areas of Land Development Projects, with a client base all over British Columbia, and Alberta.
We are currently seeking a Civil Land Development Assistant Engineer, who has a good working knowledge of the Canadian codes and standards, and who0 has impeccable English written and verbal skills.
The successful candidate will be working alongside our senior Engineers, assisting with various aspects of the designs, interacting with other staff, producing office work with the company procedures, and has the ability to work independently.
You must have the ability to interact with our clients, and convey the appropriate information for their respective projects, as well as, prepare the written reports, which are all important elements of this position.
Education and Skills Requirements:
-University Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering
-Local experience will be an asset, within the industry
-Experience in Land Development projects (Site grading, Road Design, Utilities
-Excellent computer skills in Microsoft suite.
-You should be flexible in your approach to engineering, project management, capable of managing the ever-changing priorities on a project.
This is a fulltime position.
Salary is open depending on experience.
