About the Opportunity
Our growing Kamloops office is looking to add a capable and hardworking Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to our Kamloops engineering team. As an EIT, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of civil engineering projects. The range of work will differ depending on the practice areas, projects and clients each team works with.

- Honing your engineering skills, applying theory, and providing workable solutions for infrastructure design and planning projects.
- Establishing relationships and acting as the client's representative on-site during construction to gather information, conduct inspections, and ensure that designs are built to specifications.
- Collaborating on team projects employing industry-leading technologies and programs to carry out design and modelling assignments.
- Exploring creative and sustainable solutions together with our clients to build vibrant communities.
- Providing accurate and timely input on technical reports, plans, studies, proposals, and presentations.
- Completing calculations for various water resources, water and wastewater, and process and civil projects.
- Project management and budgeting, including securing funding through ISC processes, developing scopes of work, coordinating sub-consultants, and learning about budgets.
- Preparing tender documents and drafting cost estimates, memos, and reports.
About You
This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates from a civil or environmental engineering program, and up to 2 years of experience will also be considered beneficial. Candidates must be eligible for registration with EGBC as an EIT. In addition, the following attributes would be considered a benefit to this role:

This position will have a salary range of $72,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The range is negotiable based on your skillset and experience.
