Civil Engineer-In-Training

A day in the life:

• Feasibility reports;
• Grading & earthworks calculations;
• Preliminary and Detailed Design of civil roadworks, water supply systems, sanitary sewers, and stormwater systems, stormwater management and erosion & sediment control during construction;
• Writing design reports;
• Construction services including site inspection and contract administration;
• Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D on projects from concept to completion;
• Attending design & site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors;
• Performing site inspections & investigations;
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university;
• 1-3 years of experience in a consulting environment on municipal design projects;
• Eligibility for registration with EGBC;
• Previous experience in customer service and report writing is an asset;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal);
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset;
• High attention to detail, highly motivated and enthusiastic team player;
• Capable of working independently;
• A driver's license and vehicle for work use.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $53 900 - $91 700
