You're a dedicated individual who consults and collaborates well with the Maintenance Team to coordinate maintenance activities to reduce downtime while always maintain product quality.

As a safety-conscious team player, you'll soon recognize why Canfor is consistently rated as one of the industry's leaders when it comes to safety. You'll bring your expert knowledge of piping systems and your Steamfitter/Pipefitter Red Seal Certification to work as you join our world-class Intercon Specialty Paper Pulp Mill in Prince George, British Columbia.

Your ability to problem-solve, maximize uptime, and analyze safety hazards, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will serve you well in this role.

Our Certified Pipefitters are responsible for installing and maintaining all piping systems, including:
  • Process lines and systems
  • Sprinkler systems
  • Plumbing and heating systems

For this role, you'll come equipped with:
  • Red Seal Certification
  • Over 5 years of industry-related experience accompanied by a class 'B' gas ticket
  • Solid background in heavy industry and construction
  • Knowledge of the pulp and paper industry is an asset

The hourly rate for this position is: $48.66
