Position Highlights Our IS DL Partners Program team requires a Business Systems Analyst to work on applications and environments which support the Driver Licensing (DL) business area. This role will initially be responsible to discuss business requirements with Product Owners (Business team), write the requirements in Epics/User Stories, discuss the technical solution with team and support the team until the full implementation.

The primary focus of this role will be working on projects or incidents to support ICBC Driver Licensing (DL) business:

• Learn about DL business helping the team to support business needs • Understand DL application portfolio and work with the team to implement new requirements or fix defects • Work within a team in projects utilizing methodologies and techniques like Scrum, Disciplined Agile and Kanban • Collaborating with Information Services resources to support effective and efficient implementation of releases • Interfacing with other departments and being aware of other scheduled releases and changes that could impact DL applications

Position Requirements You will bring to this challenging role the following knowledge, skills and demonstrated experience: • Ability to participate in business process analysis to determine opportunities for improvement, assess risk, recommend and implement improved methods • Understand the business and the impacts of technology issues within their respective portfolio (including impact assessment as a result of system design and/or technology changes) • Translate business input, interpret directions and apply guidelines into functional and non-functional requirements • Support the team to plan, prioritize and complete multiple concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities and requirements • Support or lead task breakdown and estimation for small to medium complexity projects within the portfolio. • Be flexible to work on any task within the team scope, supporting a cross-functional team mindset • Make configuration changes to the commercial off the shelf (COTS) software products, and ensure that the solution conforms

to our corporate technical standards • Identifies root causes of incidents within assigned portfolio and communicates resolutions • Participates in the implementation and verification of system changes • Reviews and makes recommendations on quality assurance and adherence to requirements, working in cooperation with senior analysts • Interpret detailed information in order to determine requirements for simple to medium complexity system changes within the portfolio. Translates small to medium complexity business requirements to solution requirements. • Executes medium complexity testing. Contributes to development of testing strategies and scenarios for systems functionality in cooperation with a more senior analyst • Plans, coordinates, and participates in testing and provides feedback or recommendations during design. Checks, verifies, and signs-off on end-user testing results • Support the team to leverage test automation tools, and utilize these technologies to improve quality and performance • Must meet the Canadian Border Service security clearance requirements of the Enhanced Driver License Program

It will be considered a plus if you have:

• Previous experience on application development technology and environments such as Java and .NET development, Active Directory, SoapUI and REST services, Oracle, and PL/SQL • Previous experience in ICBC or Driver Licensing.
