Reporting to the Director, FP&A and indirectly to the Director, Sales, the Business Intelligence Analyst is a key member of the sales and finance teams, whose objective is to deliver a great customer experience through our site: .

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To succeed in this role, you will need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, a strong foundation in analytical methods, data warehousing, and statistics. You will have an opportunity to directly impact the company’s performance by developing a deep understanding of our business and diving into our data to find opportunities for improvement.

What You’ll Do:
  • Work directly with management and users to define and prioritize reporting and information needs
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources and reporting tools
  • Translate business needs and troubleshoot data discrepancy to Technical data team members (data engineers)
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on the application of new analytics technologies
  • Refine and maintain KPI dashboards to drive business decisions
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity
  • Maintain and optimize complex financial models
  • Support the company planning cycle including long-range planning, annual operating plans and quarterly forecasting
What You’ll Need:
  • 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA and/or CPA beneficial
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL queries and/or Redshift and/or Snowflakes
  • Experience with BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI or similar tools like Tableau)
  • Experience with Google Analytics (or other web analytics tool)
  • Prior experience supporting Finance/FP&A/Sales teams’ data needs beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – ability to distill large amounts of data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
