This role sits at the center of TELUS' Customer Service Excellence Strategy (CSE) and Enablement (S&E) Team. The Strategic Performance Team provides the strategy, development and reporting for CSE team member's scorecards. We are looking for a dynamic individual, to provide integral support to the senior leadership teams across CSE, as it relates to bringing analytical scorecard insights to help drive exceptional performance across the organization.

As a Business Consultant on the Strategic Performance team, you will be responsible for the strategic planning of CSE scorecards from ELT to frontline team members; while evolving the data solutions required by Operations and leadership teams in close partnership with our Business Intelligence partners. Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Performance, you will leverage your strong background in strategic planning, project management, stakeholder management, and executive storytelling to articulate the business problems our team is striving to solve with scorecard development.

Here's how
    •Develop and implement a comprehensive scorecard strategy based on a consistent framework, guidelines, and aligned with overall CSE and TELUS priorities
    •Collaborate with leadership and strategy primes to interlock on key priorities, set audacious goals, and work through the logistics to bring scorecards to life
    •Build strong relationships and successfully lead through influence across TELUS teams and throughout the organization to meet business objectives
    •Storyboarding in an impactful and succinct manner that conveys complex ideas simply for different audiences
    •Excel at navigating through ambiguity and identifying clear work streams to support end-deliverables
    •Prioritize competing projects diligently with superior organization and communication skills
    •Use a hypothesis-driven and structured thinking mindset to tackle problem solving
    •Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members within and across the team

    •Proven ability to identify root causes through your analytical prowess and work with subject matter experts to align and recommend solutions to senior leaderships
    •Confidence in handling conflict and difficult conversations
    •Strengths in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving
    •Superior conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to strategize and interpret business objectives
    •Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, with an aptitude to guide and lead cross-functional teams on multiple initiatives
    •Positive, collaborative, and friendly attitude
    •Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including Excel (multiple sources and graphing), and PowerPoint, G-Suite, Oracle, SQL
    •Developed negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple business areas, manage multiple projects and prioritize work activities for self and others
    •Required Experience
    •Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications in a project management, strategy, or analytical role

    •Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, or opportunity evaluation
    •MBA and/or PMP, or equivalent experience
    •University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
    •Knowledge of CSE-specific metrics and processes
    •Experience with visualization tools such as Domo and Tableau, and/or Structured Query Language (SQL)
