The Economic & Experience Transformation team leads programs to improve our Internet, Optik TV and SmartHome Security service delivery. We are setting out to simplify, automate and eliminate repairs for our customers. As a Business Consultant, you will lead the vision, design and delivery of the next generation of repair analytics. Work with subject matter experts, business analysts and data science teams to build world class analytics capabilities. Take advantage of new cloud analytics platforms, machine learning, and NLP to unlock insights in our repair journey data. Ultimately, you will help us reduce the effort and poor experience that repairs cause our customers.Here's how
•Engaging diverse stakeholders to understand gaps in our current repair analytics and future-state needsQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Prioritizing specific analytics scenarios based on your calculation of their value and impact
•Prototyping new analytics by bringing together disparate datasets and visualizing them using Domo, Tableau or Google Data Studio
•Building a suite of dashboards to monitor repair performance for technical and non-technical stakeholders
•Partnering with data science teams to apply machine learning and NLP to identify repairs that can be automated, simplified or eliminated
•Designing new repair and service performance KPIs
•Demonstrating strong planning skills by managing a roadmap of repair analytics releases
•Exercising sound judgment, identifying and resolving problems, challenging courses of action, assessing risks and modifying plans as conditions change throughout the project lifecycle
•Conducting presentations with senior leaders regarding assessment findings/recommendations, project status and current issues
•Taking a coach-like approach with your peers and stakeholders to surface their best ideas and solutions
•Recognized for your excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization Great-to-have
•Talented at weaving together data points to create a compelling story that resonates with your audience
•Consulted for your expertise writing SQL queries and knowledge of data science tools
•Considered highly skilled with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Domo and Tableau
•Noted for your collaborative interactions with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
•Regarded for your organizational skills and ability to scope out difficult tasks, set objectives and goals, develop schedules, and prioritize activities that deliver the most value
•Acknowledged as a fast learner with the ability to quickly leverage new knowledge
•With a University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and/or 7-10 years equivalent combination of experience and education
•Masters or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Data Science Who is TELUS?
