The B2B Systems Transformation team has a passion for re-inventing our Business. The B2B Systems landscape has been undergoing an evolution. As TELUS Business Solutions has grown and expanded over the years, the result was a patchwork quilt of product, region and segment specific systems and quick win tools.
Our team's mission is to continue to drive us towards a unified vision defined by a B2B Systems Blueprint. Partnering closely with TELUS Business Solution's Sales and Operations teams, we are responsible to identify capabilities that will accelerate achieving our Blueprint and then working with our partners in the CIO team to bring those to bear.
We have an opening for a Business Consultant to help us achieve our vision!

You will be part of a team that's focused on driving a strategy and executing on that strategy working across the TELUS value-chain. You will become an expert on many of our system capabilities and business process flows and will help shape our roadmap with your guidance, input and expertise.

•Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at peer and executive levels - be someone who can advise and shape strategy by influencing without authority
•Work with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to understand current state and challenges
•Identify opportunities where Customer Experience, User Experience or Operational efficiency could be substantially improved with systems capabilities
•Work with the extended team to develop both the new capability roadmap and business case
•Oversee CIO team and other delivery partners as your capabilities progress through development to ensure successful delivery and adherence to initial vision, strategy and business case
•Grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific system capabilities to be able to further consult, guide and direct future enhancements and roadmap
•Be a strategic thinker who is innovative and creative in transforming data into actionable insights
•Thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating structured thinking/processes to simplify complexity
•Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and ingenuity with the ability to effectively achieve organizational established goals and objectives
•Communicate clearly and purposefully, sharing business and strategic context on an ongoing basis to ensure our stakeholders are continually informed of business developments progression on our capabilities, and our leadership team's priorities and expectations
•Continuously improve both your skill set and our team's processes to optimize the strategy development and communication, project management, stakeholder engagement and analytical support
•Apply your passion for growth, driving change and identifying areas of improvement or strategic projects Qualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Solid knowledge of current state business processes, systems and tools from within B2B Marketing, Sales and/or Operations
•Understanding of industry trends and in how platforms like Salesforce.com, Netcracker & ServiceNow are being applied to common B2B challenges
•Experience in driving digital transformation to reinvent UX, CX or Operational models Required Skills & Abilities:
•Analyzes problems and situations, and their impacts to financial operations and customer/user experience
•Ability to influence leaders and peers to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion
•Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication and presentation/facilitation skills with the confidence to interact with all levels of management
•Experienced with project management methodologies
•Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and or Gsuite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•A Bachelor's degree with an MBA or equivalent experience and education
•Preference given to candidates with experience or certifications in Salesforce.com
•5-7 years of experience in strategy, operations, marketing and/or business development Who is TELUS?
