The Broadband Networks Capital Management team is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Business Analyst II to support the planning and execution of the TELUS Fibre Optic deployment program. The team is responsible for the strategic planning, budget management, and executive reporting & governance to ensure transparency and predictability while maximizing ROI. The successful candidate will be part of driving these results and shaping the TELUS of tomorrow.

The successful candidate will help to run and improve the current budget management and executive reporting processes to ensure best in class practices are in place by optimizing/automating activities. You will engage key stakeholders to ensure information has been shared properly. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automating & simplifying processes to maximize results while optimizing resources.

Here's how
    •Develop/Maintain/Optimize database/repository containing the Rolling Forecasts •Engage stakeholders; build sustainable processes; Interlock with the Marketing, Implementation, and Operation teams to ensure proper alignment •Provide timely, insightful analysis with the appropriate level of detail to enable strategic, management and operational decision-making through Structured Reports as well as responses to ad-hoc requests

    •Strong analytical abilities •Strategic thinker Excellent in PowerPoint •Attention to detail •Demonstrated leadership & communication skills - motivate and influence team members to exceed performance initiatives, and possess an understanding of the business and financial elements of a large operation •Demonstrated ability to work with peers in a cross-functional setting •Highly motivated, creative, and self-sufficient with the ability to work successfully under pressure •Passion for excellence, strong work ethic and solutions-oriented •Fast learner with an entrepreneurial spirit •Must be a self-starter and show initiative •Creativity and problem-solving ability to overcome unexpected obstacles •Ability to drive self-directed initiatives - proactively identify when it's necessary to take certain steps and move ahead with confidence

    •TABLEAU, DOMO, or any other data-visualization tool •Post-secondary degree in business management, finance, computer science, or a related field preferred •Minimum 3 years of relevant business/data analysis experience
