As the Business Analyst, you’ll help us define and build products that are valuable, usable and feasible. This role sits in the middle of the business community/customer and the development team, and represents the voice of the customer.
Responsibilities include identifying new ideas for product features/functions, developing requirements, designing and testing usability, demonstrating our products, and training marketing and sales. You’ll build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new and innovative ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
The ideal candidate possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their pain points and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
Drive the vision, roadmap planning and execution of Stave’s supply chain product, including procurement, asset management, and operations apps.
Manage the entire product life cycle from planning, road mapping, feature design, development support, testing, go-to-market, and field support.
Work cross-functionally to ensure alignments between product areas and wider organization.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by close collaboration with customers and prospects.
Work closely with development through design, creation, build, test of requirements (user stories) and documentation.
Support company-wide go-to-market plan and work with relevant organizations to execute.
Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
Continually assess our products’ competitive market position.
Represent the product internally and externally.
Must have 3-5 years of Business Analysis or Product Management experience.
Must have the supply chain / procurement / asset management process experience or be willing to learn processes and activities
Ability to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
Know or learn the market, customers, and competition well; integrate this information into our application and product strategies.
Focused on action, getting things done, collaborating, taking accountability / responsibility the role, and continuing to ensure clarity and delivery.
You’re analytical, fact-based and like to get to the bottom of issues.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize, summarize and extract the essence of what matters for each stakeholder.
Experienced in Supply Chain, Procurement, Asset Management, Logistics, or Operations functions, and are eager to learn new things.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a technical degree is preferred; MBA or equivalent work experience a strong plus.
Some North American travel to customer and prospect sites may be required.
