IT Business Analyst – Financial Services

Part-time, 3-month contract (20 hours per week).
Opportunity to support a key transformation project for a respected professional services firm.
Hybrid position based in downtown Vancouver.

What & Why:
Our client is hiring an experienced IT Business Analyst to assist with the selection of a new document management system to replace their current platform. This role will work closely with business units, the internal IT team, and external technology vendors to gather requirements, evaluate system options, and support decision-making throughout the selection process. It’s a great fit for a collaborative, process-minded Business Analyst with experience in accounting or professional services environments.

The team values collaboration, open communication, and delivering high-quality, reliable solutions to support business operations.

You:

5+ years of business analysis experience, including facilitating sessions with business and technical stakeholders and documenting business/system requirements.
2+ years supporting projects within the accounting industry (audit, tax, or advisory services).
Knowledge of document management systems and their integrations with Caseware Working Papers and Taxprep.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively between business and IT teams.
Experience working with document management platforms in professional services or similar environments.

Compensation:
Pay rate: $80-85/hour (incorporated).
