We are looking for an experienced B2C brand manager to take a lead role in helping us accomplish our mission of giving any Canadian access to fair priced financial products. We want a creative thinker who can own our brand process, set measurable targets and drive initiatives to achieve them.
The ideal candidate is objective and results driven, a compelling storyteller and has a sense of urgency when it comes to new ideas and leadership. You will be very comfortable using market data to help set priorities as well as giving feedback on creative strategies and building partnership opportunities. You will be excited to execute on your priorities and work across a number of platforms.
You will collaborate with the Spring Financial executive team and work closely with the performance marketing, customer success and creative teams.Any candidates across Canada may apply. Must be open to periodic (approx. quarterly) travel to Vancouver head office location.
Develop the Brand Roadmapthat drives brand growth through development and management of integrated cross-platform campaigns, PR, media buys, partnerships, social media, community programs and content.
Execute the Roadmapthat you have developed in collaboration with the executive team. This will require collaboration with the marketing, customer success and creative teams. You will be take the primary hands-on role for putting the roadmap in action.
Be a thought leaderby identifying, implementing and sharing the latest branding trends, new campaign ideas, best practices, competitor activity, and learning opportunities that help drive our mission.
Overall Brand Ownershipwill be yours. You will take ownership of all things related to the Spring Brand which involves developing a deep understanding of the business and all the various items that impact our overall brand image. You will work with the executive team to define the brand voice and create standards that are applied across the business.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
- 4+ years of B2C brand management experience preferably within an online, high volume business.
- Success managing large-scale brand awareness campaigns (including offline media), partnerships, influencer programs, email marketing, PR and media buying.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Social Media, Sales & Customer Service.
- Strong experience managing email campaigns and content creation.
- Demonstratable creative process and strong ability to collaborate with designers.
- A growth mindset with deep knowledge and hands-on experience setting brand KPIs and action plans to achieve them.
- You are up to date with the latest innovative solutions and branding capabilities, industry trends and emerging customer and market needs.
- Demonstrated an ability to apply logical thought process to problem-solving and deliver recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem solver with a positive attitude
