The company is a large successful innovative law firm of around 1700 employees nationally. Reporting to the IT Manager, your main responsibilities will be delivering high quality, cost effective solutions to all levels of users both remotely and desk-side.  Providing friendly, courteous, technical support through phone, email for 300+ business users.  As part of the team you will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure and you will be responsible for identifying issues and taking preventative action to ensure business continuity.  Providing first and second level support to end users in a large law firm. Setting up and looking after all hardware, software and application problems.  You will be trained on firm owned application software.  You will be tasked with deployment and maintenance of computers, laptops, HP printers, phones, monitors and audio-visual equipment such as cameras, projectors, audio systems, dealing with multimedia technical needs for video conferences.  Set up all aspects of video conferences including call set up, training end users, troubleshooting and following up on escalations.  Testing hardware equipment and software applications and accurately documenting results. 


  • University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent work experience and/or certificates.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in both remote and on-site support in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in supporting Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010/2013 Suite, Active Directory and Citrix environments.
  • Proven track record in delivering a high quality of customer service while adhering to business SLA’s
  • Three years of audiovisual experience with integrated professional audiovisual systems typical of board room, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) conference room, or training room applications.
  • Good communication skills - must be presentable and capable of working in a professional services environment 
  • Must be fully fluent in French and English


  • Salary $50,000 - $64,000 base per annum
  • 3-4 weeks of vacation
  • Flexible health and dental plan, long and short-term disability.
  • RRSP firm contribution eligible to join after year 1 firm matches up to 6% after 3 years in plan.
  • Tuition covered, fitness plan coverage, MSP at 50%.
  • Overtime paid above a 35-hour work week
