The Associate Design Director is responsible for conceptual development and the execution of digital, video and print deliverables within our marketing design team. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts, mentoring and coaching junior designers, implementing and collaborating on marketing strategies and developing great design solutions.

Your ability to think creatively, communicate effectively, and bring your team and stakeholders along with you are key. You should be as comfortable drafting creative briefs and executing design work as you are guiding others through the design process and aligning design strategy with business objectives.

You will:
  • Think strategically while also being able to deliver tactically.
  • Develop concepts and communicate ideas to stakeholders and team members.
  • Coach and mentor a team of designers on a range of design practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the creative team.
  • Directly contribute to the conceptualization, storyboarding, prototyping of design solutions, that deliver measurable impact to our audiences.
  • Use and leverage metrics to drive design and measure success.
  • Interface with marketing leaders to help align expectations and deliverables.

You should have:
  • 8+ years of experience as an Interactive designer in marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience mentoring and directly managing designers.
  • A portfolio showing strong visual and conceptual design skills.
  • A strong understanding of how design delivers on strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • A design degree or relevant experience experience.
  • Humility plus strong opinions that are loosely held.
