The 40+ staff at the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) provides services for over 3,600 professional real estate members from White Rock to Mission. Our dynamic I.T. department supports Board staff and develops and maintains leading-edge member service systems and applications. If you are energetic, innovative, and have a desire to make a difference, we’d like you to be a part of our team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the daily operations within the FVREB IT environment and coordinating vendors and contractors.
  • Business process improvements and business analysis - Identifying and translating business and user requirements to specifications for application development, and presenting results to management and users to facilitate decision-making
  • Application and project support, including: project management, planning phases, identifying project milestones, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
  • Service desk and network administration management - managing and developing staff and overseeing operations
  • Committee participation -Providing research and business case details to the FVREB Board of Directors

** For the right candidate, this role may be part of the succession plan for the IT Manager role in 3-5 years

You have:

  • A Degree in Technology, plus 5 years directly related experience, which includes project management, cost benefit analysis, IT infrastructure operations and management, and supervision of staff
  • Knowledge of network and IT Infrastructure operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical ability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
